Brewers Ladies take on Sporting Khalsa Women on Sunday afternoon at the University of Wolverhampton.

They will be looking to secure another three points on the road after they claimed their first win of the season with an opening day victory over Leicester City Ladies last weekend, making a positive start to life in the FA Women's Premier League

Striker Jordan Atkin got off the mark, scoring the only goal of the game - continuing her stunning form from the promotion winning campaign, where she notched an impressive 27 goals.

While Erica Turner and her defence, which included captain Charlotte Worth and Paris O'Connor, kept their first clean sheet of the season.

Sporting Khalsa kick off their season on Sunday after their game against Radcliffe Olympic was postponed.

Meanwhile, the Brewers will be looking to build on a strong performance, having came away from Leicester with all three points following a solid 1-0 win.

However, the hosts will provide tough opposition after finishing third in the league in the previous campaign.

Last season's top goalscorer for Sporting Khalsa Jodie Lewis, who scored 15 goals in 25 games, will be one to watch for our opponents on Sunday.

They were also prolific in front of goal, bagging 82 goals in 2016/17.

But Burton will be buoyed by their performance against Leicester and will take confidence and belief from victory into this game.

We travel to the University of Wolverhampton (Walsall Campus - WS1 3BD) for a 2pm kick off. You can keep up to date with all the match action over on our Twitter page: @Burtonalbionlfc and on Facebook: /BurtonAlbionLadiesFC
